A Brief History
Established in Hull , Yorkshire in 1969 as Studio Anne Carlton, the SAC brand now lists over 100 chess sets in the current range.
Many of them are recent introductions but they all bear the hallmarks of skill and tradition so typical of the world famous sculptors and artists used by SAC.
SAC now forms part of The Traditional Games Company Limited, one of the world's leading suppliers of Decorative Chess and Classic Games.
Product Range
Our Ornamental Chess selection has 37 different themes, most of which are supplied in either brown and cream or hand decorated finishes. The styles range from the Isle of Lewis chess men - a timeless classic – to famous battles, including the Battle of Trafalgar, produced in conjunction with the National Maritime Museum . Our other styles include Lord of the Rings and Winnie the Pooh. But it's not just chess pieces – we also supply chess boards to match! Postage Costs
All orders placed for delivery within the UK are delivered FREE OF CHARGE. Anywhere else in the world carriage will be subject to quotation so just email us and ask.
